Till now, India tour of South Africa 2018 was not so easy. As the hosts managed to win first two matches of three match test series. South Africa won the Ind vs SA test series by a short margin 2-1. Team India under leadership of star batsmen Virat Kohli could not manage to win over proteas. However, India’s performance was better than their previous tour of South Africa. India won 3rd test match by 63 runs.

Scorecards of Ind vs SA 3rd Test (Innings-wise)

Team India won the 3rd and last test match in Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. The key run scorer in South Africa’s second innings are Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla. Indian bowlers resisted south africans to score 241 runs on a tough batting surface. India were looking in great position at the end of Day 3. After the rain on Friday evening and in saturday early morning, the surface became so easy to bat on. After Tea Break on Day 4, Game comes into India’s hand. South Africa 1st Innings:

South Africa took a lead of 7 runs in first innings over India. They were bold out at a minimal score of 194 runs. Hashim Amla was the highest run scorer from South African’s side. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a amazing spell and took 5 wickets for just 54 runs.

India 2nd Innings:

In second innings, Rahane picked up his form back and lead India to score 247 runs along-with Virat Kohli. On Day3, India took a lead of 240 runs and gave South Africa a target of 241 runs. In the remaining over of Day 3, Mohammad Shami bowled a wonderful spell and took 1 wicket. Now, India had 2 days to bowled out Africa and won the match.

South Africa 2nd Innings:

Day 4 started late due to the rain and then wet outfield. Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla batted very well. Both players scored half centuries and took the match back to their side. However, After Tea Break, Indian Bowlers managed to bowled out whole South African Team at a score of 177 runs.
